Faux Lomo Photoshop Action - This action is designed to imitate the effect of the Vintage Lomo plastic camera which has developed a following and resurgence of popularity. The Lomo along with other 'toy' camera's have a characteristic vignette altered colour tones and some lens distortion.
Now rather than buying one of these 'toy' cameras and processing the images the old fashioned way, you can do it digitally in photoshop with the click of a button.
To use this action, copy it to your Photoshop CS2/CS3/Presets/Actions directory before starting photoshop, and then run the action on a single layer photo from your actions palette. Please note that the layer must be the default background layer.
This action is designed for Photoshop CS2 and CS3 and is suitable for both Mac's and PC's. It is unlikely to work in older versions of photoshop.
